To the north and south from La Gorce Island to the South Beach area is a roadway better known as Pinetree Drive.  Not exactly the typical definition of a community, the Miami Beach homes of Pinetree Drive maintain a high level of desirability thanks to their excellent location and a flawless fusion of features and style that represents Miami Beach itself.

Perhaps the most jaw dropping of all the Miami Beach homes on Pinetree Drive is 4821 Pinetree Drive.  This property has a whopping thirteen bedrooms and twelve bathrooms on a lot that's over 80,000 square feet and has over one acre.  A grand ballroom, a guesthouse with two bedrooms, a gym area, a playground for children, a bar and library, swimming pool, a stunning courtyard, this property has nearly any and every feature you can think of.  With more than 18,000 square feet of living area, to say that there's more than enough space to make the home your own is something of an understatement.

The several manmade island neighborhoods found to the west of Miami Beach are very popular with celebrities.  However, if you really explore the various Miami Beach homes found on each of these islands, Star Island is perhaps the most “celebrity friendly” of all the islands and has some of the best residences in the entire city.

One of the Miami Beach homes located on the island is 40 Star Island Drive.  This incredible property has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms on a lot that's over 87,000 square feet and has more than 9,000 square feet of living area!  One of the first things you'll notice when you see 40 Star Island Drive for yourself is the beautiful front yard covered by trees.  Elsewhere you'll find a swimming pool that overlooks the oceanfront, a fountain, a gazebo and much more.

Allison Island is one of the many gated neighborhoods belonging to Miami Beach, this one nestled between the city mainland and La Gorce Island.  It's easily distinguishable by its long, slender shape and is famous for being the home of the AQUA community.  However, you'll find Miami Beach homes that aren't part of this collective, one of which we'll be looking at.

Today we're looking at 6480 Allison Road, one of the two story Miami Beach homes found near the western side of the island.  You'll find five bedrooms and four bedrooms plus a half bath.  Living area is over 6,000 square feet and you'll also discover over 100 feet of sapphire water frontage, a swimming pool with an accompanying jacuzzi, a garage, gorgeous marble floors, a gazebo and much more.  You'll be able to see some other islands nearby right from the privacy of your own backyard.

We're once again focusing on the Indian Creek island and its Miami Beach homes.  This private neighborhood is a semi-large island just west of the Miami Beach mainland and is well known for being the current or former home of many celebrities as well as for having its own police force and armed boat patrol.  A country club is also part of Indian Creek.

Today's listing is the property identified as 17 Indian Creek Drive, one of the classic Miami Beach homes and certainly one of the largest.  This two story designed by architect Jeffrey W. Smith sits on a colossal 75,000 square foot lot and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms plus two half baths.  Features include a lagoon in the front of the home, a movie screening room, gorgeous marble in the bathrooms, swimming pool, a boat dock, more than 200 feet of bay frontage and much more.  Since the home is near the southernmost area of the island, the views are largely unobstructed.

Biscayne Point is one of the westernmost islands in Miami Beach, not counting the collection of manmade islands found in between downtown Miami and the barrier island.  Biscayne Point is also one of the more unusually shaped, consisting of a northern and southern side that are separated by a small body of water but connect on their westernmost tips.  Biscayne Point is very popular for its Miami Beach homes thanks to its prime location.

One of these Miami Beach homes is 1150 South Biscayne Point Road, a five bedroom and four bathroom property located near the entrance to Biscayne Point.  This property sits on a large 13,000+ square foot lot and has over 4,180 square feet of living area.  Features include a swimming pool plus a boat dock that's large enough to contain a gazebo of sorts.  The living room is also massive, allowing plenty of space for hosting social gatherings while the views of the waterfront are as delightful as you'd expect.

Of all the islands in Miami Beach, the largest would have to be the Venetian Islands, named after the Venetian Causeway that runs east and west. True, these land masses have an advantage since they're a collective of six islands called Di Lido, Rivo Alto, Belle, San Marino, San Marco and Biscayne Island.  The majority of these islands have great Miami Beach homes and today we'll be looking at one located on San Marino Island.

The 250 West San Marino Drive property is located on the northwestern side of the oblong shaped island.  This property has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and sits on a gargantuan 21,000 square foot lot.  Inside the home you'll discover over 4700 square feet of living area as well as an ultra modern kitchen, an unbelievably spacious living room that has views of Biscayne Bay and a master bedroom that also seems to come from the future.  Outside you'll find a swimming pool with a jacuzzi, a boat dock and much more.  This is truly one of the most contemporary Miami Beach homes in the Venetian Islands!
