The Venetian Islands are a chain of islands in Biscayne Bay just west of South Beach. From east to west, the islands are Belle Isle, Rivo Alto, Dilido, San Marino, San Marco and Biscayne Island. Man-made in the 1920s, the islands consist of many 1920s and 1930s estate homes as well as some contemporary homes. Lot sizes are typically 60 feet on the water and 175 feet deep. Although the islands are not gated, you will commonly see a Miami Beach Police Car posted on the Venetian Causeway. The Venetian Island homes are perfect for yachtsmen. Warm up your engine and cruise Biscayne Bay. The Atlantic Ocean ten minutes away by boat. The most desirable home locations in the Venetian Islands have South/ SW exposures with big views of downtown Miami.
